The Idea
To make gathering feel unforced: open enough to adapt, precise enough to belong.

A spatial study for a contemporary place of hospitality and creative exchange in the Eastern Province.

We began with the relationships between people, then defined distances, sightlines, material warmth and acoustic softness.

The Form
Low horizontal elements create an open social field. Stone, timber and textile hold a restrained rhythm around a circular centre.
